In order to dream,
one must be asleep.

It is time to awaken from our collective, selfish conceits.

Many things will be beyond your sphere of influence,

longing for those things, only perpetuates delusion.

to free yourself from illusion.

Flaws and all.

Sturdy by your scars,
You try to hide yourself far.

I but saw you,

I hear your soft cry,
Don't you know that love doesn't mind?

Rest your head by my side,
you'll feel the truth,
naturally it will ease your troubled mind.

Take your time,
realign.

Most likely life will come and along,

IF by some combination of

wit and will,

ignorance, and faith,

you manage to fool yourself...

of transcendence.

The Verb

Expanding open spaciousness from within,
Feel the quantum sizzling of your skin.
Are you the subject of the sentence,
Or the object of the verb?
Who and Whom.
In the very laws of our language,
lay the truth,
that we may be the subjects of our experiences,
but we are always the objects of The Verb.

Between the rule,
and the exception that makes it so,
a myriad of,
exchanging complexity.
To look out for those who can not see,
To protect the most vulnerable,
Isn't that what makes a society?

How many times in your life were you dreading something so much so
that you were overcome with fear,
and either by your own will,
or by the nature of your circumstances,
what actually happened,
happened to be,
a most beautiful gift?

It is now natural to think beyond "either or logic",
 to perceive the unity of observer/observed,
 to regard “objects” as human inventions abstracted from a holistic continuum.

How can you expect to be one with life,
with god,
with whatever word you'd like,
as a place holder of the externally, eternally, numinous;
When you are not even one in and of your self?
This is not some metaphorical visage,
But of nut and bolts,
nerves and neurons.

There are many paths of accomplishing the same thing,
the yolking of one's self,
and yet each tradition steeps themselves like bitter tea,
Disguising the taste permanently.

It is easy to fool others,
Even easier to fool one's own mind.
But no matter how brash, how foolhardy your drive,
You can not fool the sky.
You can not fool the self.
You can not disguise against the divine.
It will be revealed with time,
and for those with a wizened eye,
it is already latent in the manifest.
Will you pass your test?

Bicker and Banter,
As the Earth grows sadder,
The confluence of opposing pressures,
can no longer be ignored.
Open,
release,
Observe.
