To read the Bible to acquire knowledge about self and god,

is like snorkeling at the nearby sewage plant to acquire knowledge on the eating habits of locals.

Sure, you will get some info, but you are probably going to get sick, and it would be much easier
(and pleasant) to visit the local dining district instead.

The Bible is a carrier of a mind virus which Humanity is in its final throws with. It subliminally injects assumptions of the "shape" of our universe's hierarchies,
and it is complete bullshit.

The bible is literally the first piece of literature which reveres the tyrannical as holy,
and look at how it is still our undoing.

It doesn't matter which creed.
Which of the so called "holy" books you choose,
Fundamentalists of each, those who take the words of their holy books the most seriously, are the very groups of people who want most to destroy and kill
everyone and everything.

This is no coincidence.

How can you believe in democracy, in shared responsibility,
 if deep within you,
at the very bedrock of your beliefs,
is the false notion
that the universe is ruled over by some self-righteous despotic God-King. 

If the universe is a feudal state ruled by a lone God king,
then of course you will automatically bend the knee
to any human charlatan who can convince you that they are
God's King on Earth.

Don't you see?
Why wade through the excrement, detritus, and the words of those who seek only to enslave you?
When instead,
 you could read any of the other hundreds of thousands of religious and spiritual texts,
which point to the same truths,
but without the need to manipulate, brainwash, or degrade you?

If you are undeterred by my words, then heed this alone,
when you delve into these cursed religious tomes,
take with you the words and knowledge of the saints, priests, and sisters, who lived their lives as holy as they could see and be. For those who were real and true, it will show in the unfoldment of their lives;
again, it does not matter which religion on creed...

...If the messages of the old testament, the new, and the Quran really speak to you- t
hen go back, even further in time.
Read the dead sea scrolls,
research the history of Levantine Semites
, their travels and transformation from pagans to worshippers of a singular male war god.
Again just an example, it does not matter which creed, the pattern is the same.

Don't follow someone blindly, not in anger, nor in love.
 Be sensitive and gentle toward the shifting emotions in yourself,
 others, and your environment.
Never react,

So then how could one even assume to be able to begin to perceive and distinguish any and all higher beings? Would an ant be able to tell the difference between you and me? Why? Because of your feelings? Even cats, and dogs, and children, and politicians can mislead and enchant your feelings and emotions. So then imagine what a being greater than an ocean could muster. "Devil!" "God!" "Angel!"  Let the mind quickly be silenced, Become Unwavering.   Instead of being distracted by images and feelings, dive even deeper into the pristine center of your being. From center out, beyond the skin, then perhaps, clearer perception begins.

 We are entering a new age,

but it ain't the one the prophets promised.

When any game is coming to a close,

the participants become more willing to do anything to overthrow.

Centralization of information, power, wealth,

collateral damage be damned.

Only the corporate owners, oligarcs, and wealthy will get to play
