Science, is a method.
A method of interacting and observing the world in such a way as to minimize one's influence upon the object or objects/systems involved.

Today, the information and understanding which has come from our scientific observations and experimentation impress upon us the necessity to go beyond science.

From the start there was a strange cognitive dissonance within the rational, empirical, scientific mindset, for it claimed "Man is the measure of all things" while doing everything within their power to remove the individual, from the equation.

Quantum science states at the most fundamental level that just by observing, we influence the systems which we are trying to observer objectively; thereby destroying the notion that man can be removed from the equation.

As our society has progressed, we have continued to grow exponentially in scientific prowess, but our wisdom, and now- the very methodology of science has waned. How is the methodology crumbling? We create "medicines" but we don't conduct comprehensive long term studies.

Having generations worth of scientific tools, toys, and weaponry at our collective disposal allows for individuals/societies with little or no grasp of the scientific method to unleash and manifest their wills, without being grounded in seeing the repercussions on the shared world. It is most dangerous, when these scientific establishments and tools are controlled by individuals who do not understand AND actively don't believe in science.
