How is it,
that when a caterpillar emerges from its cocoon transformed,
it already knows how to fly?
Because while it is disintegrated and recreated
in its chrysalis,
it dreams.
It dreams of flight
long before it even knows its going to grow wings.
When pressure is high,
and all is dark,
perhaps this too is your cocoon,
your calling,
for a time to be dissolved
and recreated
in the image of your dream.
The dream that was borne in you,
long before you
were even a
"you"
What is the recurring dream
that you refuse to receive?
